The Click CEOP button  part of the National Crime Agency’s CEOP Command, is designed to protect children from sexual abuse and exploitation, both online and offline.
This provides children, young people, parents, carers, and professionals with an easy way to access trusted online safety advice, support, and help. It also offers a secure and straightforward way to report suspected or known cases of child sexual exploitation or abuse directly to CEOP. This online reporting option serves as a less intimidating alternative to in-person or telephone reporting through local police.
The CEOP Safety Centre
The Click CEOP button links to the CEOP Safety Centre, a dedicated section of the CEOP website. It provides:
- Guidance on online safety issues, such as hacking and cyberbullying.
- Referrals to partners like ChildLine and BeatBullying for support with issues beyond CEOP’s scope.
- A direct channel for reporting suspected child sex offender activity for CEOP to investigate.
