From the moment students begin their journey at Darul Hadis Latifiah, they receive one-to-one career guidance that is tailored to their individual aspirations, strengths, and interests. This personalised approach ensures that each student is supported in identifying potential career paths and setting achievable goals. Regular career interviews with dedicated staff help students stay on track and explore their options throughout their school life.

Workshops and External Support

We regularly organise a variety of career-focused workshops to help students develop the skills they need for the modern workplace. These workshops cover essential topics such as writing CVs, filling out job applications, and preparing for interviews. External agencies are also invited to assist our students in building strong CVs and taking part in mock interviews to prepare them for real-world scenarios.

Work Experience in Year 10

As part of their career development, all Year 10 students are offered work experience placements. This practical exposure gives students a taste of the professional environment and helps them develop key employability skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Our partnerships with local businesses and organisations ensure students gain valuable experience in sectors that align with their career interests.

University Visits and Career Fairs

To inspire and broaden students’ horizons, we arrange visits to prestigious universities across London and beyond. These trips allow students to explore different higher education options and hear from admissions staff about what it takes to succeed at university level. In addition to this, we organise attendance at career fairs, where students have the opportunity to meet representatives from various industries, gaining insight into different career paths and emerging opportunities.

Guest Speakers and Assemblies

Throughout the academic year, we invite professionals from diverse industries to speak during assemblies and special events. These guest speakers provide invaluable insights into their respective fields, share their career journeys, and offer advice on the skills and qualifications needed to succeed. Enterprise Week

One of the highlights of our careers programme is our dedicated Enterprise Week, where students engage in activities that explore various aspects of the working world, including entrepreneurship, finance, and project management. This hands-on experience encourages students to think creatively and develop their problem-solving skills while learning about business and enterprise.
